Sometime back, LUSH invited me to their Angels On Bare Skin Workshop!

It was fun to see how the products are being made infront of your eyes.

And LUSH products are famous for being Against Animal Testing and using only Fresh & Organic fruit and vegetables,

Without further ado, lets look at the demo of Angels on Bare Skin Workshop~

WHAT IS ANGELS ON BARE SKIN?

Angels On Bare Skin is a cleanser for all skin types. Its main components are Kaolin Clay & Ground Almonds. Kaolin cleanses the base deeply and the Ground Almond helps to exfoliate the skin. There is also Lavender Oil and Rose Absolute to balance out combination skin types.

 HOW TO USE ANGELS ON BARE SKIN?

Grab a small amount of Angels On Bare Skin , put some water on the cleanser and rub it against your skin. ( Done on hand for demostrative purposes)

After that rinse the remaining cleanser off and you would have smooth and radiant skin.

The participants that day were also allowed to bring back a sample size for them to try at home~

The Bath Issue

Many times we just wanna soak and chill from all the stress and craze in this modern city life~ Besides adding bubbles, it will definitely be awesome that we can add fizz balls or bath balls that you know its not only healthy, entertaining but also good for the senses. Lush always says, take every opportunity to make every bath special! I strongly agree that, it should be the time to unwind and relax after a stressful day out at work etc.

There are so many variety that one can just get lost standing there staring at the choices available at Lush. Just look at the choices available :

No worries, I'm not gonna slam you a thick theory on each product hee hee~ There are many signage about each product and the staffs will be more than happy to explain to you if you are ever lost~

I enjoy staring at the colourful balls of bath bombs whenever I'm at Lush Wisma~ The staffs there are always welcoming you with a smile, and allows you to browse at your own pace. They will always come to you if you are ever lost too!

Some may wonder why I enjoy going to the Wisma outlet, hmm well its just my personal preference and experience? As I'm blogging for Lush, I often go down to any outlets to try, understand and sniff the products etc. Sad to say, among the 3 outlets, I feel that the Suntec branch needs to be more friendly~ I've been there like only 3 times? And each time there is this chinese petite girl with long hair that just give me attitude whenever I passes by or bring my friends to check out Lush goodies cos we are nearby >_< Gosh, I feel so bad towards my friend who did not have a pleasant experience cos of that @_@ Perhaps its just my personal experience or I'm just unlucky >_< But if you wanna gossip/whisper about your customers who is standing near you, least do it after your customer left? Or least do it in discreet? Perhaps my dressing is outrageous, perhaps I look like an alien to you or perhaps my makeup scares you lol~

I apologize for being upfront honest, but I DO want my readers/friends to have a pleasant experience just as I do for things that I recommend! Cute 'Bombs' for the bathroom~ Lush

Today I'm gonna share with you some of the super cute looking bath bombs in Singapore~ Where else but Lush have the cutest, weirdest, funniest, prettiest bath bombs right? I enjoy smelling them as they really smell good, I always enjoy a good soak in my bath tube and dropping them in and staring at them fizzling lol~ As I'm wearing pretty colourful today, I will be introducing those that match my outfit first lol~

First will be this big one, GRANNY TAKES A DIP! I really like how its girlish colored, nothing granny at all with its unique name~ And its shape doesn't really look like its a bath bomb. I secretly think i can use this one 2 times by breaking it into 2 cos its so big! It has this multi layered scent of uplifting lemon oil, spicy black pepper and fresh ginger oil, which makes it very refreshing~

This one looks quirky to me, with stalks of real lavender sticking out lol! Its called A French Kiss! Wow~ The fresh herbal fragrances of lavender, rosemary and thyme with essential oils from the hills of sun-soaked Provence go into our swirly love letter inspired by the warmth and beauty of the French countryside. Sound so romantic huh~

This one look like a plate of desserts that I'm gonna serve to kids at a party hee hee~ Its called Dorothy! The exotic floral scent of ylang ylang, sweet figs and uplifting orange oil will wash ur greyness away~



Want some cupcakes? Sorry they aren't edible thou lol~ Phoenix rising is a Royal purple and gold-dusted, with a cinnamon stick in the center which gives a spicy apple and cinnamon treat!

Wanna try my macrons? Haha! Gotta~ They are not edible hoho! Its actually a shampoo bar and its called Godiva! New fresh and handmade party~ LUSH

Yay~ I'm so excited to be invited for this event! Super sad that Kazue cant join me for this, not wanting to enjoy the fun alone, I got Haru Cafe's Shiro to attend with me! He wasn't so familiar with Lush, bet its gonna be a big eye opener experience for him :P We happened to be at Orchard for lunch, made a beeline to Wisma outlet and gave him a short/mini tour about Lush what kind of products they have etc, took some selfies and made a dash to the event location~

We were the first to arrive, ops! I started to tell him about Gorilla Perfume, since I was recently blogging about it, we are like 2 curious kids, sniffing/testing here n there, everywhere lol! I showed him some of the stuffs that I personally like too~ Matina, the retail manager spotted me and we had a great time chatting, she's really friendly and funny! So nice to hear from her some of her personal experiences and favorites products.

Next, I also got to meet and know Venelyn, the marketing executive, she new with Lush and is also excited about being part of the team.

Next I notice keep going around taking pics is Ekta~

Next is Danielle~ Pretty surprised that she knows me! We had a good time chatting today too! Today she's the speaker for the event too! Really love her big eyes <3

The middle big empty table is being set up as time passes~ Spot some of these! I really am excited whats gonna happen today~ Looks like some hands on workshop <3 YAY!!! Am i gonna get to make something?!

Are we gonna make some balls? Balls...BATH BOMBS!?!

I wonder what are these powder for... bath bombs right?

Aren't these edible icing?

YES! I think they are gonna demo how it is done~

A saw a big box of disposable gloves...meaning... some of us will get to try making bath bombs hands on? OMG, can I already volunteer? :P

Beside these, i saw another layout of products! Never seen them on the shelves before, I wonder what are these...

D'Fluff is a Strawberry Shaving Soap! Sound so girly! Packed w effective ingredients like strawberries, golden syrup and egg whites! The texture feel like marshmallow fluff that u chew in your mouth :P It also smell sweet! Is this seriously a shaving soap?! Retailing at SGD 35.

How to use :
Wet your skin and apply a generous amount of shaving. For best results, let it sink into your skin for 3-5 minutes before you begin to shave. Shave the desired area, rinsing your razor frequently under warm water to eliminate excess soap and stubble. Finish off with a moisturizer for smooth, soothed skin.

Zest is a med to strong hold hair gelly! Contains real orange juice! and it wobbles like some jelly that tickles me into giggles everytime I shakes it lol! I keep disturbing it haha~ I've never heard of styling jelly that contain orange juice before, so this is definitely an eye opener for me. Retailing at SGD 38.

How to use:
Lightly dab a finger into the pot and to get a tiny amount of gelly. Rub between your hands until there’s no visible product left and work it into wet or dry hair. Start at the back and work forwards to help prevent product buildup.

African Paradise is a body conditioner! Wait body?! I've heard of hair conditioner, but body?! The fragrance reminds me of 'Marilyn, hair treatment' that I'm using. Contains shea butter, moringa oil, fresh mango juice, aloe etc, sound so pampering! After a rinse it off, i can feel a layer of 'wax' like feel over my skin. That's some serious 'sealing' effect to lock the moisture/conditioner in! Most products I've tried, only have the smooth effect for like after i towel dry etc. This product is imed! I was like not sure how much to rinse off cos it still feel like 'waxed' surface. Then I just decided to just gently towel dry quickly and yea, the effect stays pretty long. Retailing at SGD 66.

How to use :
Use like you would a hair conditioner, but on your body. Smooth on over wet skin after washing, rinse off, then lightly towel yourself dry.

Granny takes a dip is the colourful looking bath bomb! Look so pretty right? ^_^ I really love how to colour swirls even after the bomb is gone lol! Contains lemon oil, ginger oil n black pepper. Good for playing with it to make 'flower art' in the tub lol! Retailing at SGD 10.50.

How to use :
Fill your bathtub with warm water, drop in the Bath Bomb and lay back to enjoy its lovely color and gorgeous fragrance. Some LUSH Bath Bombs contain flower petals and others have secret surprises (if you prefer not to have these pieces floating in your tub, wrap the Bath Bomb in a recycled nylon before use). To make your experience even more memorable, combine your fragrant Bath Bomb with a Luxury Bath Melt.

Parsley porriage is the green soap that gives the super squeaky clean feel after use. Contains fresh parsley, finely ground oatmeal, thyme, tea tree oil and aloe gel. Suitable for your whole body, its creamy lather gently exfoliates to help remove dead skin, while keeping it soothed and cool. Retailing at SGD 13.30 per 100g.

How to use :
Lather up with warm water, taking time to enjoy the gorgeous aromas, then rinse clean. For optimal longevity, keep your soap in a well-drained dish between uses.

Next is Mangnificent. Contains lemon, mandarin oil and neroli oil. Fresh pureed mango and dried mango slices tone and gently exfoliate the skin too! Retailing at SGD 13.30 per 100g.

How to use :
For hands, and use all over naked bodies. Get sudsy in the bath and shower. For optimal longevity, keep LUSH soap in a well-drained soap dish (away from water) between uses.

Yay~ Event starting! Really love the drink they prepared, it look so awesome that i MUST find out who prepared it and whats in it. I was somehow guessing, must be Maro lol~ Yes its him! Hahah~ Look! Looking super fresh and yummy!

Maro started by showing us a demo how their bath bombs are prepared one by one! So much work~ 

OMG can u spot the paper heart confetti? 

Yes, its really edible!

OMG EXCITED I can finally try!!!! HAHA~ I was too excited to take time to wear gloves lol! The most I'll have pink hands later! XD After placing my icing flowers, started filling up the mould~

Here we see a happy Shiro making bath bombs too! He enjoy it so much and keep making them like some machine lol~

Next, they showed us how the bath bomb fizzles in a bowl of warm water~ 

After quite some time, see how pretty it is! Feel so romantic and all the tiny hearts <3

Next we get to see the new product bath bomb that creates beautiful swirls of colours demo!

Ok, this is what I will be doing if I'm bathing with it lol! So artistic huh~ Tee Hee!

I wonder where that Shiro went while i was playing art with bubbles....As you can see this Shiro .... Hey, stop making them!

We were each pampered with a huge bag of goodies at the end of the event <3 WOW, so generous of them! I wonder what's inside cos It's pretty heavy @_@

Big my farewells to the lovely ladies at Lush, and where is Shiro?! Looks around... DEAR BOY! I'm so hungry for dinner! Let's go ok?

During our dinner, while waiting for our food to be served, curious kitties opened what's inside the box! WOW & OMG They gave all the brand new items in all retail sizes! Much generosity and sincerity! Thank you so much! Cant wait to go home and start trying out my Lush therapy <3
