Being healthy and celebrating Mid Autumn Festival

Been quite some time since I last played badminton! Felt super sad when I realized I have waited to play in vain... and my friend told me 2 person play very boring... So playing w Elizabeth very boring huh..sobs... Lucky Elizabeth have an awesome friend, Wei Liang, who have been playing badminton for more than 10 yrs to play w me~ He's so nice willing to be patience and promised not to smack my face LOL!!! Last min decided to play, but there isnt any available court, luckily Wei Liang knows of a free place where its very nice n peaceful for a game! So we meet at Yishun, which is ard his house area ^_^v

Could'nt sleep the night before as I had quite a lot of unhappiness  n frustration with things in my life, so here I am ready to go without sleeping a wink! Tieing up my hair is a MUST, cos I foresee I will be picking up the shuttlecock a lot lol~

Here is our gaming spot! Really peaceful n lovely~ Can u spot those cactus?? I keep laughing wat if Wei Liang miss n fell into tat lol! So OUCH!
I'm so standing this side cos its safer :P
Wei Liang keep commenting I'm like playing tennis, noisy player :P Actually, I was venting out on the poor shuttlecock cos I keep smacking with all my strength ;( I spoilt like 2 within a short time span (sorry Wei Liang >_<) But it was worth it and kinda relieved my frustrations in a healthy way~ Was panting like mad after the game ended. Ate at a nice stall w their famous Nasi Lemak at a nearby coffee shop, the queue is @_@ Wei Liang so nice, offer to queue :P Its really not bad! Took a pic while waiting for the food :P
Here comes the food!
Wei Liang need to go for his driving lesson, but before tat, he head back home to shower first. As i have nothing on, I went up w him to wait cos i don't want to stand at the void deck and its hot weather @_@ I rather sit at sofa blow fan :P And here is his flat cat! Its a stray and he calls it 'Kay Poh Cat' so cute! It board the lift w us! Its very tamed~

After Wei Liang is done, we took bus to Yishun MRT and he went for his lesson, while I head towards Orchard~ Went Wisma shopping and saw this pretty dress <3
I saw another fur jacket and OMG its so pretty!!! And OMG is so pricey too~ :P Just look at the pretty outfit! All I lack are some diamond accessories with heels and I can go for some fancy dinner!
After that, spot Paris Baguette~ Been wanting to try it and sighz nvm ... now going for it~ Whenever u wan to try something, dun wait, just go for it! Found a seat! Lucky me~
Decided to try the Royal Milk Pudding!

I headed to Clark Quay Central and chill/slack at Gong Cha enjoying my usual order, before heading to Chinatown~ Here is my traditional tools for tonight! Wonder why? Cos its Mid Autumn Festival!

It was pretty crowded at Chinatown~! First thing we saw are rows of beautiful hand painted paper lanterns! Someone also told us there will be fireworks later!!! Aren't I lucky?!
There are many interesting stores around too that sells all sorts of things for the festival~ Here are some of my favourites :
Pretty lanterns for sale~
The MUST have fruit for the festival~
Chinese calligraphy~
Went for dinner at the open air food street~ Traditional but yummy food!

Fried Kway Teow at Chinatown 美食街 for me!
As for dessert, had this Sago Melon Shaved Ice! Woo~ The sky is getting dark!
Went walking around some more and spot a stage where singers and overseas celebrities are invited~ Saw this rows n rows of pretty lanterns along the whole stretch of road <3
Went to the bridge area and found a spot to chill, the moon is really pretty that night! Pity my camera cant zoom that awesome to take a pic of it close up :/ Found a pavilion hut and played w my lanterns, surprisingly, I'm the only one there playing tat .__. Only like 1-2 kids had lighted ones~ Its pretty sad that tradition is fading ;o

Here's me~

Me w sparks~
After that, went to watch the stage performances from the overhead bridge~ Boy, it was so cramp on the bridge >_<
There were some Taiwan celebrities, but too small and we cant tell who are they XD After some singing, they release the traditional sky lantern! So pretty~ Thou I cant help wondering where do they land tmr :P
After that, pretty fireworks!!! Me stood there stunned and mesmerized by them~

It was really a pretty sight! Especially seeing it so upfront and close~ Went for dessert after that! Tried the milk pudding ~
Signing off with love~
Elizabeth
