Pokémon, the ever-popular franchise inspired by the Japanese video games, is launching its first Pokémon café outside Japan in Singapore for 2 months (May 27 – Jul 31)!
Following the pop-up café’s roaring success in Shibuya PARCO in Japan, PARCO Singapore has collaborated with local F&B operator EwF (Everything with Fries) for the first Pokémon concept café in Southeast Asia, to be held at EwF in Bugis Junction, for a limited time only from 27 May 2016 to 31 July 2016.
The café will feature everyone’s favourite, Pikachu, as the main character, in the café’s original menu conceptualised and inspired by Pokémon characters and stories. The café will be decked out with Pokémon imagery, café placemats and coasters made exclusively for Pokémon café. Every order of the Pikachu Smiling Rice Omelette with Magma Sauce and Pikachu’s Sweeeeet Pancake will even come with a Pokéball mug that diners can take home!
Original Pokémon café merchandise, such as t-shirts, keychains and a tote bag have been produced specially for the café and will be sold exclusively at the café in Singapore alongside other official Pokémon products.
To celebrate the debut of the Pokémon café in Southeast Asia, PARCO Singapore has also partnered with the sole and official distributor of Nintendo products in Singapore, Maxsoft, to give away original Pikachu characters in the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games for Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL/2DS. Customers simply need to present their official receipts from the Pokemon café at the cashier to receive a one-time download serial code.
Featuring Pikachu as the main character, the food and drinks in the cafe’s Original Menu have been conceptualised and inspired by Pokémon characters and stories. A 3-D Photo booth will be installed at the cafe.

HONESTLY, I'm really disappointed...the food don't look well made as compared to the pictures that were provided in the media kit. It's a CAFE! Sigh~ Had to leave early cos I was having a bad headache from the clubbing songs that they were blasting... I know its a party, but erm idk...least blast Pokemon related songs? I thought majority of the song list would be from different towns or something relevant at least. I also saw a lot of media ppl who were comparing the food pictures beside the real food @_@ How sad is that?
Well, the highlight of today was when the music changed and Pikachu Mascot appeared. Everyone went really high and rushed to take photos with Pikachu.
