Death Note : Light Up The New World by Encore Films

Synopsis
“The human whose name is written in this note shall die.” 10 years has passed since the first Death Note murders and the final confrontation between mastermind Kira and private detective L. Again, the shinigami sends Death Notes to Earth, and the world soon falls into chaos. A ripple of mass murders caused by the Death Notes occur in the United States, Japan and other countries around the world. Mishima (Masahiro Higashide), a member of the Death Note special task force, takes up the case with 6 other investigators.

Famous private detective Ryuzaki (Sousuke Ikematsu), who is the rightful successor of L, joins the investigation. They discover that 6 Death Notes currently exist in the world.

While they are investigating the case, cyber terrorist Yuki Shien (Masaki Suda) sends a computer virus throughout the world’s systems. The virus carries a video of Kira that says to surrender all 6 Death Notes...

Review:
Elizabeth - I want to see all 6 of the Death Note's Shinigamis... For all 3 series of this movies, I've only seen 5 or did i missed Sidoh >_< I love the twist towards the end of the show on 'Kira' and the fate of female shinigamis saddens me.

Kazue- This is a better movie (for someone who doesn't read/watch Death Note) than I expected and there is a very good buildup of tension. At the end of the day you will be shocked with the final outcome. I really like L's successor though, very eccentric and I can't stop staring at his contact lenses , hahaha! The starting of the show was very nerve wrecking and it catches your attention very well. I would highly recommend people to watch this movie!
