Koishikawa Korakuen 小石川後楽園

Rise and shine~ Today I'll be going one of Tokyo's oldest and best Japanese gardens. It was built in the early Edo Period (1600-1867) at the Tokyo residence of the Mito branch of the ruling Tokugawa family. Like its namesake in Okayama, the garden was named Korakuen after a poem encouraging a ruler to enjoy pleasure only after achieving happiness for his people. Koishikawa is the district in which the garden is located in.

Koishikawa Korakuen is just a 5 to 10 minute walk from Iidabashi Station and is only 300yen to enter.  Got my tickets and into the park!
First big tree insight~
Really love the colours!
Finally I spotted those lower than me!
The red is really gorgeous~
Also spotted a lot of mandarin ducks on land!
They look so busy thou XD
Some small plants were on sale too, a pity i'm a tourist, cant bring these home~
And of cos there are pine trees too~

Along with interesting structure~
Resting area~
We brought our snacks, wagashi etc to sit by the lake and enjoy the view~
