Dihua Street, 迪化街 (Taiwan) 2019

For Lunar New Year shopping, most locals will not miss out heading to Dihua street in Taipei. It is like a one stop for all the shopping needs, especially food! During this period, the stalls will be open 24hrs, which is really amazing and cool, so if you are staying nearby, you can visit any hour! Almost every stall wants to let you try how nice their products are, even if you are not buying!

First time trying to take a bus to the place, thanks to google map! The ride is only NT15 for most distances!

Overall, it is definitely worth a visit even as a tourist! Some stalls are repetitive, but it is still interesting to see the type of food they have for the festival. There are also food stalls where there are tables and chairs, so not to worry if you have elderly accompanying. However, the sun is really sunny despite the cold temperature in winter. Remember to put sunscreen!
