JR West Wide Area Pass

Having been to Osaka twice in my life, I still have some places that I wished I visited. I missed out Nara Deer Park last trip, and I was burning with passion when I heard about Naruto Theme Park at Awaji Island. When I had the chance to collaborate with JR West & NTA, I knew I had to take it, a opportunity for me to explore other parts of Kansai with the pass.

Prior to my flight, I end up having more collaborations and invitations within the wide Kansai area, so you can imagine how useful the pass and I'm so grateful! Talk about time saving and ease of transportation with all the Japan Rail, including a lot of the express rides!

Yes I have planned my trip to be slightly early for Sakura blooms, cos seeing them before, I didnt want to squeeze with the crowd (if any), and rather enjoy the quieter cities for my trip. Also it was rather stressful for me because there was Coronavirus going on, I thought long and hard whether to cancel the working trip, but being a full time global content creator, with so many collaborations, its now or never. I DO want to go when it is way quieter, of cos before any outbreaks. I keep checking Japan news every day, even my friends also kept a look out for me before my flight.

Being a frequent traveler, I made sure of the followings:

• I have all my masks, sanitizer, anti-bacteria wipes, vitamins etc. 
• I also practice frequently washing my hands with soap and avoiding the crowd. 
• I also re planned my routes from cities that have higher reported cases. 
• I choose to eat during non peak hours, and only pick up purchases almost during closing hours when there is nobody. 
• I was wearing my mask most of the time, unless when I need a pic or when I am eating/drinking. 
• I even change seats when I hear someone coughing nearby! 
• I also ensure I am kept warm at all times, wearing thick and keep getting warm drinks from vending machines or convenient stores

Some may think I am over reacting, but I rather be safe, I really didn't want to get sick and get venerable to virus when I'm overseas and yes also, being half Singaporean, we are kiasu, listen to our government advises, and we rather play safe as we really take Covid-19 seriously.

To ensure I didnt catch a cold on board, I wore my coat and neck warmer during my flight~
