Sakari Singapore

Fancy some sake at the comfort of your home? Nihonsakari is with one of the world’s biggest Saké breweries and supplier to the Japanese imperial household since 1913. Within ten years of its existence, Nihonsakari became the one of the top Saké breweries in the Nada Go-go area (Five regions of Nada and the birth place of Saké) and twenty-six years later, they were selected as the purveyor of Saké for the enthronement ceremony of Emperor Taishō; the Junmai Ginjo Souhana has been served in the imperial household until today.
First of all, cheers to everyone!

History
A sake worth of an emperor In the millenary world of sake, Sakari is a barely 130-years-old startup. Its young founders wanted to build the future of Japanese society through sake, with study and collaboration. The same spirit still moves us today. Sakari’s five founders are now remembered in our logo: five sake glasses that, meeting in a toast, create a Sakura flower. Since 1913 we are official suppliers of the Imperial Household.

Situated in the Hyōgo prefecture, Nishinomiya, is blessed with the perfect rice and water.
All Sakari sakes are naturally vegetarian, gluten-free and preservatives-free.
Pairing this sake is grilled squid with tofu salad. Fresh & fruity tropical aromas with a hint of persimmon. I like its rich flavour and a smooth finish that isnt too sharp nor creamy.
My top fav among the 5!

Pairing this sake is some tempura, the shrimp goes really well with it! Light fruity aromas with some yeasty notes. Hint of spice, kiwi and water pear with a pretty sharp and dry finish.

Pairing this with some side bites, the gyoza pairs really well with this sake. Tropical nose, mango & melon. A hint of citrus, good body with creamy finish.

Pairing it with some cold appetizers, edamame is a win for me! Rice, mushroom, cereal aromas, nutty flavors with a hint of herb and spice with a clean finish.

A lovely pairing with cheese cake. Well balanced of sweetness and slight bitterness forms this enjoyable yuzu infused sake. The zest is a combination of 2 different types of Yuzu from the Kochi prefecture.
Feeling all hyped up? Come and taste it for yourself!
